I absolutely loved getting to spend an afternoon with Laura, Jorge, and their sweet pup Nico for their engagement session at Hugs Point on the Oregon Coast.
Laura and Jorge are such a beautiful couple, and you can tell pretty quickly how comfortable they are together. They were so easy to photograph, and I loved getting to capture all of the little moments between them.
We spent the first part of their session exploring Hugs Point, OR, walking along the beach, and just letting things happen naturally. What brought Jason and I so much joy, was that they had decided to bring their adorable dog Nico along for the session!
More than anything, I loved getting to see Laura and Jorge simply enjoy being together. Their connection is so sweet, and it was really easy to see how excited they are for this next chapter of their lives.
And getting to photograph this part of their story before their wedding day made it even more special.
Then, during the second half of their session, the wind really started picking up!
Honestly, I think it ended up making some of my favorite photos from their session. Laura's hair blowing in the wind, the waves behind them, and the two of them just holding onto each other made everything feel so natural and fun.
I always love when something unexpected happens during a session and we can just roll with it. I am so blessed with such easy-going couples! Sometimes those are the moments that end up making the best photographs.
